The First Angel’s Message is the divine opening of the everlasting gospel for the final generation. It directs the world’s attention to the heavenly sanctuary and to Christ’s ministry in the Most Holy Place. It announces that the judgment hour has begun, which commenced on October 22, 1844, fulfilling Daniel 8:14 and perfectly harmonizing with Revelation 14:6–7.
These two passages point to the same prophetic event —
the opening of the investigative judgment in Heaven, when Christ entered the second apartment to begin His final work for humanity.
The First Angel points you to the judgment.
The Third Angel prepares you to stand in the judgment.
The Second Angel — Calling Out of Babylon
Between the First and Third messages stands the Second Angel, commanding God’s people to come out of all confusion and deception.
The Second Angel clears away the Babylonian errors that have intoxicated the world, including:
❌ The dead are already in heaven
❌ The soul is immortal
❌ Sunday is the Sabbath
❌ Salvation by works or human merit
❌ Human priesthood that replaces Christ
❌ Pagan doctrines brought into Christianity through Rome
Babylon — led by the Papal system — has made all nations drunk with her false doctrines. The Second Angel calls for complete separation from false worship and counterfeit Christianity, preparing the mind to receive the pure truth of Christ’s righteousness.
“Babylon is fallen, is fallen… Come out of her, My people.”

The Second Angel removes deception so the Third Angel can install truth.
The Third Angel — Power to Stand
The Third Angel’s Message is righteousness by faith in verity — Christ’s righteousness imparted to His people so they may stand in the judgment and overcome the mark of the beast.
Only those who stand under the covering of imputed righteousness and walk in imparted righteousness will pass the judgment, for Christ alone meets the law’s demands.
The Three Angels’ Messages are not three separate movements —
they are one united gospel work:

✅ Third Angel — Fits you to pass judgment & resist the beast
Christ the Center — 1888 Message Restored
The everlasting gospel is not simply information — it is Christ our Righteousness from beginning to end:

Sealing a people who reflect His character
In 1888, God sent a most needed message through A.T. Jones & E.J. Waggoner to restore this truth:
“The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones… This is the message that God commanded to be given to the world. It is the third angel’s message…”

“The law demands righteousness, and the gospel supplies it.”

The fatal deception is a message with doctrine but without Christ.
The angels’ messages are Christ-centered, cross-centered, sanctuary-centered, and faith-centered — never man-centered.
Heaven’s Final Movement
In mercy, God first announces the judgment —
then provides every means to stand in it without fault before the throne (Revelation 14:5).
Jesus is both:
🕊️ Our Substitute — Imputed Righteousness (title to heaven)
🔥 Our Example — Imparted Righteousness (fitness for heaven)
Only those who have the righteousness of Christ will stand when every earthly support is cut off.
The Three Angels’ Messages are God’s final rescue call —
to prepare a people who will reflect Christ’s character, stand by faith alone, and finish the work.
