Why the Army of Workers teaches relationships almost every day
One of the core pillars of the Army of Workers Ministry is relationships — because few things shape a person’s spiritual direction more than the person they choose to unite their life with.
This isn’t opinion. It’s Bible. It’s Spirit of Prophecy. It’s Adventist history.
1. The Fall of Humanity Was a Relationship Decision
The first great fall of the human race did not begin with rebellion, atheism, or open sin.
It began with a relational decision.
The Bible says plainly:
“Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife…”
— Genesis 3:17
Adam did not fall because he loved sin more than God.
He fell because he allowed relationship emotion to override spiritual conviction.
Ellen White confirms:
“He resolved to share her fate; if she must die, he would die with her.”
— Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 56–57
Nothing has changed. Millions in the last days will stumble on the very same point.
2. Ellen White Warned That Wrong Relationships Will Destroy Souls
Few subjects receive stronger warnings in the Spirit of Prophecy than marriage and relationships.
Ellen White wrote:
“Every marriage engagement should be carefully considered, for marriage is a step taken for life.”
— Adventist Home, p. 340
And again:
“The happiness and prosperity of the married life depend upon the unity of the parties.”
— Adventist Home, p. 120
In other words: relationships impact eternal destiny.
This is why the enemy targets the home more than almost anything else.
3. Two Lifetimes of Experience — Given by God to Help Others
The Army of Workers doesn’t teach relationships casually.
The Lord has given our team decades of real experience:
16 years of steady, consistent, Christ-centered courtship
42 years of faithful, blessed marriage
That’s 58 years of combined, lived-out experience, including victories, trials, and breakthroughs.
Not theories.
Not guesswork.
Not pop psychology.
Actual life experience under God’s direction.
And we share this because we’ve seen the truth of this inspired statement:
“To gain a proper understanding of the marriage relation is the work of a lifetime.”
— Adventist Home, p. 105
God has entrusted us with insight that prevents mistakes, heals hearts, strengthens believers, and guards eternal destinies.
4. The Final Battle Will Hit the Home
We are living in the closing scenes of earth’s history.
Ellen White wrote:
“We are standing upon the threshold of great and solemn events.”
— Testimonies to Ministers, p. 116
More souls will be destroyed over relationship decisions than almost anything else.
This is why we teach this every single day.
Many last-day believers will fall — not because they reject doctrine,
but because they choose relationships that pull them from obedience to Christ.
This was Adam’s test.
This will be our generation’s test.
5. Why the Army of Workers Takes This So Seriously
Because the stakes are eternal.
Because we have seen too many souls derailed by relationships.
Because we refuse to let people enter the final crisis unprepared.
Because God has given us deep experience to help His people make right decisions.
Because Christ is coming soon — and the home will be the greatest battlefield.
And because every relationship decision is shaping your destiny — for time and for eternity.
